We can also assist in the administration of the deceased’s estate.
After the legal personal representative of the deceased has obtained the Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration, the next step is to administer the estate.
In our experience especially for relatively straight forward estates, some legal personal representatives prefer to administer the estate themselves rather than use the services of a lawyer. We will only assist in the administration of the estate if requested.
If instructed, we would help the legal personal representative gather in the assets, pay the debts and distribute the remaining assets in accordance with the deceased’s will or the laws of intestacy.
